Many people thinks that there is no competetion between the Indian companies like Micromax and other highly popular companies like Samsung, Sony, etc. when it comes to he field of smartphones. They thinks so because in earlier days companies like Micromax produced only low budget phones at extremely cheaper rates. But now the time has changed. The best example for this is Micromax Canvas 4 Plus.
Unlike other phones Micromax didn't need to make much efforts for marketing this phone. It made its way across the market due to its superb features. So now lets take a deeper look at its features:
1) The Heart Winning Look:
No doubt, the look the Canvas 4 Plus has, is like Apple iPhone 6 with its rounded edges and aluminium back plate. The golden aluminium back plate covers most of the back part except the white strips on the top and the bottom of the back side. Unlike iPhones there is a golden aluminium outlining surrounding the front part of the phone. On the golden aluminium plate on its back, it contains the logo of Micromax with the fist sign. It also cotains instructions for inserting SIM cards as one slot can occupy regular SIM and the other one can occupy Micro SIM.
With an extremely slim body of 7 mm it weights too low compared to other phones of the same size.
2) Processor and Operating System:
The most important internal parts of a smarthone on which the performance of a device depends is its processor and operating system. Canvas 4 Plus comes with an Octa Core 1.7 GHz Processor and Android 4.4.2 Version. The combination of these two thing makes this phone an extremely fast device.
3) Storage and Memory:
It comes with 16 GB Internal Memory and 1 GB RAM with nearly 2 GB memory for app installation. You dont need to worry at all for data storage because it comes with USB OTG support. You can also attach keyboard and mouse with the phone as it supports OTG function. This feature makes this phone a tablet PC for you.
4) Camera:
It contains a 13 Megapixel back camera with a flash light and a 5 Megapixel front camera. About the camera result I must say it is a little bit disappointing. It is not as satisfactory as I found it in other Samsung phones.

The phone is bundled with almost all the generic apps like Google Chrome Browser, Clean Master, Calender, Clock, Google Drive, Email, Flashlight, Gmail, Google+, Hangouts, Hike, Google Maps, Music, MyNotes, OperaMini, Photos, Google Play Books, Play Movies and TV, Play Store, Swift Key, ToDo, True Caller, Videos, Voice Search, Youtube, Zapr, etc.
In addition to this apps it also has some games preinstalled like Jelly, Smashit, Where's My Perry, etc.

- It comes with a 2000mAh which has more than 7 hours talktime capacity and more than 205 hours standby time capacity.
- It plays almost all major video formats used in present days including high resolution formats like .mkv.
- It also supports cast screen functionality by which we can mirror screen display to our T.V.
- The display is extremely good and big enough as it comes with 12.7 cm HD Amoled Screen with 1280 x 720 pixels/ ppi 293.
So after looking at all this features I feel that it is definately worth buying at price near INR 14000. So this Gem acording to me is a sure buy thing if you are planning to buy a highly featured phone.
